It’s one thing that’s his, and will always be his. It could have originated from Riku, but it was only a spark, then, and once inside the Replica it blossomed into a permanent trait. It was there when he was born, when he was brain-washed, when broken, and re-awoken. Riddled with borrowed memories and broken promises, it’s really the only thing that allows him to deal with his life and move forward.
He is a brat, and that will never cease to be.
